Managed Copy Enabled Blu-Rays Coming Soon
Posted 11/08/2009 at 07:43:11am
Why not lower the price of the media, sell volumes more and nobody feels guilty. the industry made the piracy issue when the prices for media went up and DRM issues became more of a hassle for the nice guy.
I am certainly not wanting to buy new hardware to play blu ray that barely won a format war. Any thing sony the consumer is likely to get screwed.

Netscape Navigator Turns 15
Posted 10/13/2009 at 09:23:47pm
I remember netscape whining and complaining to the courts how unfair MS was and that the GOVT should do something about it. Seems similar to the same crap Opera and other companies are doing now.
If it only took MS 12 months to take the top spot from Netscape, I would summarize that Netscape's product really was not that good or people already realized that the browser was a tool to view the pages and showed no loyalty.
Why pay for something you can get free. Opera should be wondering the samething, for years they even bragged how their browser would never be free. The result 1% of market share.
I am glad Netscape cut the trail, its sad that the company got lazy and failed to keep improving and planning their future.

Byte Rights: Going Too Far™

I am not sure how rollerderby and a lawsuit with Frito Lay is something a MPC reader cares about. A lawsuit with MS, google, Ubuntu or some MPC related topic perhaps. Like i have said before why are you here? The newsworthiness of the great rollerderby and crackerjack scandal is hardy worth the bits its written with.
Seeing Double: Samsung DualView Digicam Comes with Two LCDs

i guess adding more megapixels to a camera is not enough any more to get consumers to run out and upgrade. between this and the projector camera, seems the camera vendors are desperate to find a new i gotta have it feature. I would like to have a compact camera with f1.4 lens and high quality low light sensor, along with optical zoom, is, and a high megapixel count. Perhaps a flash that was able to bounce off of a ceiling.
