Acctually it's just a one time $40 fee to enable the USB jack, and then you can hook any extenal drive to it and record for free.

So... Does this mean they're going t kill the Blu-Ray managed copy before it starts? I think BRMC is the stupidest idea ever. I have to pay extra to back up a movie I paid for? No thanks.

All formats? Am I the only one who can't get it to play blu? I've tried the discs, and I've tried .iso files of the some discs, and nothing happens. I assume there's a way, since it's compatble with the HD audio formats. Anyone have a workaround? I checked the hep, but the wiki and forums are down.

Yes- I realize that. Sorry, it was two different subjects, with no transition.
I'll buy the OEM cos I don't want to pay the price for the fancy package.
I would, however, be willing to pay more for the retail version if it came with several licenses. If I had one computer, paying full retail would be fine. But since I have (the inconvenience of having) a house full of computers, I can't afford putting a new OS on each one.

Thanks for clearing that up. It doesn't really state that in the article- that makes more sence now.
