well they currently have a 55nm card out now

so a 40nm would be that much better and more to the point COOLER on top of it

I have the original 30 lb external floppy drive for that commodore if he needs it! My first "pc" was a vic 8 then my dad got the commodore 64 complete with an external modem we were "on line" in 1984! Slow as christmas but I wouldnt trade the experience for anything.

 This better be WAAAAY under 600 dollars. with most netbooks in the 300 dollar range, and even some pretty good starter lap tops like the acer line for under 400 I would be hard pressed to find it ok to spend 600 bucks on a atom processor kids toy.

 

If they plan on making it, they better get thier heads in the game and think CHEAP !!!

In a global economy does it really matter if they are in USA? The last I checked fed ex delievered world wide. and honestly, are any of the video cards actually made here? I bet not, they just have some phone operator taking orders and even that is likely relocated rite next to the new IBM call center in India.

and I totally missed that you went with value ram?

from newegg pricing that day you could get corsair xms2 2x2gb pc 6400 for 45 dollars before any rebate that they happened to have one for 25 bucks making it 19 dollars for a WAAAAAAAAAAAY better ddr2 choice

 

maybe you should subscribe to the deals of the day from the newegg site? you are paying too much
