Modern Warfare 2 Breaks Record for Biggest Launch in Entertainment History

Posted 11/14/2009 at 07:29:34am

Ifind it hilarious when something debuts bigger than anything else has ever, and you still got the tiny handful that say it's crap. And try to swear up and down that everybody else thinks the same as they do. Yeah 4,7 million people bought this game in 1 day because almost all of them thought it was going to be a piece of s@#$. Doesn't make since? Didn't think so. But I'll continue laughing at the idiots as i always do, while playing modern warfare 2, while being happy I have never decided to play the TOTALY realistic wizard and elf loving fun land.hahahahaha

Modern Warfare 2 Breaks Record for Biggest Launch in Entertainment History

You mean 10 million? Also that seems kind of like a paltry number when WoW has been out for 5+ years, and Cod sold this game to half that amount of people in 1 day. Andfor it being a console port? Who cares buy the pc version they spend more time with it and get alot more features than the console versions. COD is boring and your playing quake instead? hahahaha. I think your just mad you can't afford the splender. Think how many people will have boughten and played it in the next five years by the way. Then a comparison to WoW would have alot more meaning.

Illegal Music Downloader's Spend "The Most on Music"

Posted 11/01/2009 at 11:03:03pm

I have an inherent tendency to copy all songs from all of my freinds' mp3 players whenever i see they have one. That's where the majority of my music came from. But an ipod???? That's another story.....long story short F!@#$ an ipod.

I am certain people would find ways out of the legal trouble. Maybe by like downloading a copyrighted material with the copyright protection and everything stripped. Or maybe complain that they got it off a p2p network and nothing said anything about a copyright. But if the law does take effect there are probably some people that will take theyre entire media collection put it all in one file and share and/or seed it. Then you only downloaded one file one time.Simple but seemingly effective. In my opinion this law will do nothing and will fail to register as significant, when the big companies that provide the services will have their users switching to other isp's. though there are places where only one isp is available. But who's gonna pay for the development of the tools and software in order to keep track of how many times each user is downloading a copyrighted material?

I'm absolutely sure someone will want to cash in and develop, but to implement is also a whole other story. I mean personaly,....sure downloading copyrighted material for free is illegal in most cases. But also counting how many times each user is downloading copyrighted material, not to be redundant, should be illegal. I mean I'd feel uncomfortable if they knew that much, Invasion of privacy, again in my opinion is faaaarr worse. Come on' guys.........As always said two wrongs don't make a right.

Watch a Mouse Play Quake 2...For Science

Posted 10/17/2009 at 12:10:01am

the ball has sensors that can control any movement and speed, so the mouse can move as it pleases in the VR. If you flip a computer mouse over and use the ball with your figer it'd pretty much be exactly the same thing. But you would have more intelligence and experience with computers, and could adapt to controlling the ball alot easier than the mouse could. I'm sure if you gave the mouse enough time it could possibly get the hang of the input device eventually in order to move more fluidly.

People need to start thinking in a broader spectrum..........think about it like this maybe someone wants only to have, as maxPC has already said, a home theatre pc. This can probably be had at a fraction of the price it would take to build a new computer or to even just upgrade your current gpu. Do you think someone that wants to only play hd video is gonna want to pay all that extra$?
