I took a look at it and thought about it before buying my new Netbook, but there seems to be alot of issues with Wine. I perfectly happy with Win XP on my notebook as I know it pretty well. I'm still learning Linux (prefer Umbuntu) and enjoy working with it. If there was a "Boot Camp" for Linux, I'd be a happy camper :-).

Well, I bought my netbook with XP installed. My problem with Linux is that various programs I like to run may/ may not run on it. I enjoy using ITunes, will it run using Linux? I don't think so. Office 07? Nope. Yes, I know about Open Office and have used it in the past, but for working at home, I still need Office 07.

I stopped going to Circuit City a few years ago for a number of reasons. The number one of which was when they fired their employees who knew anything (ie, they made too much money) and hired a bunch of new people (to save money). That and the constant mail in rebates (which Best Buy has done away with, thank god), along with higher prices than the competition....well, why would I go there?

I use Best Buy for most of my electronic buys and the reason- rebates. I hate mailing them off and waiting for my money. Circuit City should have followed Best Buy and stopped them long ago.

Well, I'm no longer an Online gamer and find most of my computer time is for doing reports, surfing the net or facebook. Frankly, I love my netbook (Aspire One). Just got it for xmas and am very happy with it. I will be getting an extended battery, though. I have seen where the extended batteries can last as long as 7-9 hours. I love the weight and size of it. It's very easy for me to carry around into a coffee shop, quickly boot up and get my email.
