Battlefield 1943 PC Delayed into Early 2010
Posted 08/21/2009 at 01:15:02pm
1. THat you're making us wait = B.S.
2. That we're waiting to get... 32 players? WTF! I'll just play a different BF for the 64 thanks.
3. No mod support, and only 3 maps... again, WTF!
4. It'd best be free, because BF:H is not up to snuff.
5. And if you're new Engine can't push 64 due to Server Stress, I suggest you go talk to Bohemia Interactive, because playing on a server with 178 people... just doens't get old.

Blizzard: LAN Will Be “a Great Footnote in Our History”
Posted 08/18/2009 at 03:42:47am
And to be honest, I don't care how fast anyones connection is, if 8 people are gaming it up for a LAN Party, thats really going to take out of the host's connection, and thats if he can support 8 PEOPLE ON HIS/HER ROUTER!!! I mean, 30ms, 20ms, I don't care how fast your damn Battle.net is, nothing beats the speed of LAN, hands down. And nothing you do, can, will, or want to persue is going to stop piracy. The world has opressed many things, but they always, eventually, find a way.
We all remember what happened to spore when EA tried to stick it's fingers up our @$$'s with its DRM. WE are who buys the game, WE pay your paycheque, WE employ you to make US games. Its not about what YOU want, or what YOU WANT to do.
Really Blizzard, you can only herd people so much, until they just get sick of it. And I'm really tired of grinding 1000+ Hours a Month for items/badges, only for you to release more, so that I have to spend another 15.00 + 1000+ Hours of Time.
Glad to see Blizz is doing it's part for the Pro-Gaming Scene... sad day. Viva la Quake Forever, For Always!

Windows 7 Gets Optimized For Intel Chips
Posted 07/26/2009 at 07:49:20pm
I was saving up money for the new Core i7 975 Extreme, gonna go all out... but, this is just low. LOW LOW LOW. I'm absolutely disgusted by this. Now, I've used Windows 7's Beta on a Laptop with an Athlon X2 Processor, and performance was better than XP. So, I guess I'll wait until November, go with an AM3 Phenom 2 X8 when they're released.
Very disapointed in Intel. Way way disgusted.
Ask the Doctor: Can't See, Cap'n!

But, I mean, that sounds like the computer i had 6 years ago... 9200 and all. Things aren't too expensive these days,e specially something that can push past that little tike you've got there. Heck, a Core i7 920, with a nice EVGA X58 Motherboard, 6GB's of DDR3 RAM, a 1TB Hard Drive, and a PSU, for 779.99 Canadian... just need a graphics card, and preferrably not the ATi 9 series ;)
