Stop using reverse polish english please! What are you trying to say in this line:
'This entertains the possibility that Via will provide a more attractive option an Intel and Nvidia when it comes to platforms to base a netbook off of.'
Spit it out man! What are you trying to say... really!!!
AMD Still Hemorrhaging Employees
Posted 12/31/2008 at 01:44:14pm
I saw an article you guys had a while back on China developing a chip. It sounded like they where still quite a few years away from becoming a contender on the market. This would be another arrow to AMD would it not? Is the writing on the wall? Will Intel go back to sleep should the PhII doesn't make it? One can only assume that China would even be a challenge for Intel let alone AMD...

Let me guess. The guy that runs Cygnus Systems has green hair and wears a purple suit!!!!
Don't worry, I'll sue them first for copyright infringement for accessing my photos without asking for my consent first. Of course if I do give them consent, then they would have to pay me a royalty for the copyright usage. Like for every time I or someone else views my thumbnail image...

No BS Podcast #88a: The We've Got Zombie Fever Edition
Posted 12/05/2008 at 01:33:57pm
now the link is screwed up in Itunes. It actually has the 87 edition thinking it is the 88th. I know I can simply load the link and save it to my desktop then drag it in to Itunes or whatever. To me it is like those damn MS Vista cases, you know the disk is just on the other side of that shinny plastic surface but getting the damn case open just about kills ya!
Now here's one for Gordon, how do you re-intiate a podcast download once it has been downloaded? The only way I have found so far is to delete the Podcast subscription and re-add it. No biggy right? Well, I like to keep the old issues around as reference or even to go back and listen to them sometimes but each time I delete the subscription, I have to re-download all those others as well!

again! The links all point to episode 87 not 88... PLs fix linkage!
EDIT: I stand corrected, the link downloaded the right podcast over my copy of #87. The only one that seems to be correct is the feed from Itunes - wait, Gordon, does this mean apple is doing something right?
Netgear's Digital Entertainer Elite Looks to be a Practical HTPC Substitute

Support for an IR balster? I can see forcing it to use HDMI or composite but having it able to flip my channels on my satellite box would be must don't you think? I mean if you are trying to be like TiVo, then you also need the broadband access to load in your scheduling depending on your provider...
Let's face it, if they don't go there then it is a glorified VCR as programming it to record will be a real pain in the... I'll stick with my satellite remote that controls my vcr if this is the case...
On the other hand they make no mention of having a TiVoToGo feature which I assume it will. This means streaming the recording back to a media server in a format for portable devices. Now that would start making it sound a little attractive...
