FCC Chairman Makes His Case for Free, Porn-Free Internet
Posted 08/24/2008 at 07:01:33am
Are you really trying to say you're not sure of the definition of porn? What about the definition of the word 'is'?
Let me spell it out for you (at the risk of getting my post deleted) an erect penis or a vagina coming into close contact with a part of someone elses body (or in your case, your own) for the purpose of orgasm is sexual. I.e. private and should not go out over the public airways. You are quite welcome to pay for it (and I think you probably have to pay for it).
Asking whether breast exams are included is pretty stupid. The human body is not pornographic. But some of the actions it goes through are. I'm pretty sure you people try to confuse the issue so you look smarter than everyone else. It's not working.

Oh, and use the correct terminology (IE PC = Personal Computer, not merely Windows).
Tell that to Steve Jobs, and get him to stop making PC versus Mac commercials.

I think it's great. If you want the playboy channel, get cable and pay for it. You have a right to do that.
And I want free broadband. Living in the country is awesome, but having to use satellite internet to be able to see a You-Tube video bites.

Sorry. I didn't see your link. You're trying to make money. Never mind.

I said "get a lawyer and start a class-action suit". You California types seem to just want to yell (i.e. "protest"), instead of actually doing something. Then your latest left-coast outrage trickles over and screws the rest of us.
And once again - YOU DON'T HAVE A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO FLY ON AN AIRPLANE!!!
You have a right against unreasonable search and seizure, but that right can be mitigated in certain circumstances in which you voluntarily give it up (like deciding to take an airplane ride). YOU CHOOSE THIS. It is not forced on you. Take the bus. You might have to sleep next to a wino, but at least you don't have to get "outraged", eh?

You don't have a constitutional right to fly on an airplane. And I don't have the right to blow one up. If they have to get out the rubber gloves, so be it. As long as my children get home safely I'll deal with an inconvenience.
Having said that, if abuses are happening, get a lawyer and start a class action suit. That's the way it works in a constitutional republic.
BFG GeForce GTX 280 OC 1GB

I don't think you can truly compare the 280 and the X2, for this reason - I have a DS3 motherboard which has exactly one pcie slot. So I need to know "what's the most kick-assedness" I can stuff into one slot. SLI'd 280's may be awesome, but that doesn't help me at all.
Pound for pound Sugar Ray may have been the greatest boxer ever, but Butterbean could have kicked his ass. In some cases size does matter.

You mac guys can't take a joke. 'Nuff said 'bout that.
My point was for the editors - to whit - I buy MAXIMUM PC (not Maximum Mac). I've bought it for ten years because it was always the baddest, most cutting edge pc mag around. I don't care about macs, I don't need info on them, and I DON'T WANT TO READ ABOUT THEM.
Now you go back to your little MacWorld and enjoy how easy (you think) your life is. May God bless you, and teach you not to be so bitter.

I don't spend my money on Macs, and I see no reason to continue spending it on you guys if you're turning mac on me. I have no need read about them, and if I did, I'm sure I could find a mag that would keep me enthralled.
Mac people can keep their little attitudes, I don't care. They need things easy, and that's okay for them. I prefer versatility over ease. And as for you people claiming "you can run Windows" on a mac,so what? I could run osx on a pc if I was "allowed" to. And I'll bet I could run it really fast, too, if I could tinker with it (and we all know when that'll be). Plus, now you have to add a couple hundred bucks to the cost of the mac to run Windows on it. Not to mention it doesn't run very fast within osx (I don't care what you claim, it doesn't). Run me a few benchmarks and prove me wrong.
One more thing (just an observation) - if there are about one-tenth as many mac people out there (as there are pc users), and ten percent of the population is gay, is that a coincidence? I'm just saying.........
