I love wolfram alpha, I just wish they wouldn't license it to Microsoft. I'd prefer they worked on making wolfram a viable search engine to integrating with bing.

seriously.  Windows 7 is not the Second Coming of Christ or anyhting. I tried it and its barely better than Vista. Windows 7 is just Vista done right. And its more of copying OS X. I use Vista and Windows 7, and Linux, and OS X, and I prefer OS X. because its better. I have installed more drivers on my computer in the last nine months (since I built the Thing) than I have ever in my life.  But I still use Vista more often because of compaatibility, and because I built it. I can't believe I am ranting like this.... at one in the morning. I have no life.

BS. You said NO BS. but Snow Leopard and all of the other Mac OS X things are a lot more than service packs, and they don't charge you for a step down in speed, performance, and ease of use. Spotlight, multiple windows, expose updates, more speed, parental controls, less space taken up, better UI for Finder, Better Security, Parental Controls, Stacks, and all the other small things, make a LARGE update, definitely more than a puny service pack. And Apple doesn't charge you for features that SHOULD have been included in the original release (except for iPod Touch users getting OS 3.0, that one is unforgivable, even though I have an iPhone). besides, Windows 7 has maybe, a new UAC setup, faster then Vista (still pretty slow, in my experience, even with a 3 GHz Processor), better compatibility with devices (don't Linux AND Mac OS X have that?), and built in ISO burning. For no less than 50 bucks. great. FANTASTIC. Rip-Off.

Yeas, because SOOO many people will buy 30,000 (or less with new pricing) songs off iTunes. My parents, sister and I are all audiophiles with different songs on our iPods, and we only have 3767 songs TOTAL, most of that from CDs.

Okay, first of all, is there ANY Laptop that is really a "gaming" PC? I would say no. Also they said it needed to be fast because "We need to look stuff up get out the door." Internet speed DOES NOT equal computer speed, just buy better internet. Yes I do use a PC, I know the disparity, just sayin'

Yes, i am a Mac fanboy, but I have built a PC, and use it every day. Getting that out of the way, this seems like misinformation. The Apple is about aesthetics (yes, you mispelled that (I probably didn't spell mispelled right either)) is really wrong. My PC still isn't quite as good as my mac, even with the 4gigs of 800Mhz Ram, 640gig HDD, 9800Gt (achilles heel) 3GHz Core 2 Duo, computer, compared to a 2 year old aluminum imac with 1 gig of 667 Mhz ram and a 500 gig HDD, 2 GHz Core 2 Duo (that was long-winded), and that's becaus of the OS, which, with more third party support, would definately be much more powerful than any Windows OS (Linux IS better than Mac OS, i just don't like it much).
