25$ a month for REAL 767kB download isn't bad. We are paying 30$ a month for 660KB down.
I HATE the whole "connection speed" vs "download speed" crap with internet/networks. Oh sure - they advertise "6mb/s download" but you get 600KB/s down. BULL! Don't list the "connection" speeds. they are meaningless. People only ever care about real transfer speeds...

If you look at the various clocks they are all a little different from each other. Also a huge one I just found - if you click the "people" link then once it zooms in if you pan up/left a little the bridge with the cars/busses on it. It shows 4 cars and 2 busses. But if you look at them there are realy only 2 cars a and 1 bus. the other 2 cars and 1 bus are repeats.

I've never had a video I can't play and i've never had a probelm with any videos with those codec packs.

A "employer-issued computer" is still the employers and therefore theirs to do with as they want.
So no - I would not feel violated if a company looked at my company issued computer.
It's just simple logic - if you don't want someone to find some information you have - don't store it on something THEY OWN.
Survey: 30% of Windows 7 Problems Related to Installation

Your topic is wrong - it should be "Survey: 30% of windows 7 problems are caused amatures trying to do stuff they don't know."
Ofcourse it might need to be changed from 30% to something like 90% :P

If I KNOW I can get the video someplace else at a non-slow speed I will leave when a video goes to buffer. My internet speed is fast enough to not need to buffer if the video site i'm watching a video on is not slow.
So when it goes to buffer chances are if there is another website with the same video I will leave.
Would You Pay $1,200 for a Mouse?
Posted 10/27/2009 at 01:54:17pm
I payed $6.50 shipped for my mouse. I've never wanted anything other then what my mouse has - 2 butons and a scroll wheel. Every time i've used a mouse with more butons they just pissed me off.
$1200 for a mouse? - HAH! You could buy the most expensive intel processor and still have $300 left over for that price!.. sheesh. I don't think the people who made that mouse where thinking straight.
Study: HDDs Headed for the Bargain Bin, Not Obsolescence

It could happen.
A year ago i bought a 750 GB hard drive for $160(the cheapest at the time) and now you can get 1.5 TB hard drives for $120 - or less if you want to lower the cache or RPMs.
at $160 for 750 GB it's - 21¢ per GB
at $120 for 1500 GB it's - 8¢ per GB
It would seem that if this keeps up a 14TB hard drive for $40 doesn't sound that far-fetched.
