I was just about to place an order at monoprice.com for some new HDMI cables and had been wondering what 1.3a category 2 really meant. Thanks for the info!

No LAN play doesn't bother me that much, just as long as Battle.net works smoothly and isn't like the crappy online servers EA uses for the recent Command & Conquer games (C&C3 and RA3 online drive me nuts).

I hear your pain, Gordon. I bought the BSG miniseries when it came out and then got it included with season one when I bought that. And when Razor was released on DVD, I had to buy it... only to find it included with the paltry 10 episodes of season "4.0." We're a cornered market - they know we'll buy their stuff!

You just know it's stupid Facebook that's taking our women. Mine crawls out of bed in the morning and goes straight to her laptop for it.
On the plus side, she makes me look like a bit less of a PC addict...

Interesting that this album's digital sales were higher than the last one's CD sales. Especially since I paid $15 for the last album on disc and chose to give them $10 online when I got their new one last fall.

They've even got rainbow halos around the flashlights now! (as seen in the first 2 screens) Seriously, I'm really impressed with what they can do on a game engine from 4 years ago.

I thought it was still an interesting podcast. Apple is a company that makes hardware. Seems like it's appropriate. *shrug* Moving on, I hear the listener on the issue of online videos not working in other regions. You guys made it sound like it only happened if you were overseas but we get the shaft in Canada, too. ABC airs the new ep of Lost in the US and Canada and the next day at ABC.com... Canadians can't view it online. After some of Battlestar's season 3 eps, they had deleted scenes available online at Sci-Fi's website, but it wouldn't play for Canadian viewers who also just watched the episode air. Very sad times =( Unrelated: Good to hear Norm on the MaxPC podcast! Good poaching from those PCG guys.
