The Ultimate Free Network Applications, Period

Hey guys - can anyone speak to this? These links are for free software (who doesn't love that, right?) but what about in terms of enterprise level software? I know my company goes with Proxy Networks for their <a href="http://www.proxynetworks.com">remote access software</a> due to security concerns. Does anyone have any experience with this. I know I would be fired in a minute if I caused our system to get hacked into.
