according to the tech i spoke to at MS all i have to do is call back and tell them my mobo failed and that my computer is home built and that they can issue me a new OEM key for my OS. this was in reference to vista so cant say it would deff work for 7 but don't see why it wouldn't.

Microsoft is Okay with In-game Advertising, Says it Will Continue to Thrive

Posted 10/06/2009 at 04:51:46pm

well one way to look at it is an ad during a tv show means a break in the show an in game ad wouldn't (shouldn't) interrupt the flow of the game, if they made me take a break to watch an ad i would delete it but as long as its non intrusive to the game play then it wouldn't bother me any.

i see no reason why this is a bad thing as long as it doesn't affect game performance in any way, including my ping times :)

i like the idea.

i don't think its practical but how often has that stopped me from doing something! i'm on board. although i could see mechanical failure being an issue like someone else pointed out.
