Modern Warfare 2 PC Multiplayer Capped at 9v9, Says Infinity Ward
Posted 11/06/2009 at 03:51:58pm
Looks like Blizzard is over at Infinity Ward infesting their development team. I was looking forward to Starcraft II until they removed the LAN party option. IW has done something similar by removing the dedicated servers but to cap the maps at 9x9 is BS on BS. Pat yourselves on the back, IW, because this customer is gone too. (and to raise the price to $60.00? F and U. IW actually thinks they are a brand! MORONS)
Apple Files Patent for OS Embedded Advertising

If this is implemented in any operating system by any vendor and it cripples my business computer while it is performing a mission-critical function for my business, that O/S vendor will be sued for damages PERIOD.
Infinity Ward Explains IWNet, Attempts to Quell Gamer Rage

... and they (IW) just want to dumb us down. COD4 was the best PC game I've ever played because of the ability to CHOOSE where I wanted to play. FREEDOM!!! But, if this is the future of multiplayer gaming, where I can't set up my own server and just play with/against people of my choosing, then I won't be in this for too much longer. I was looking forward to Starcraft II but they are employing the same kind of crap by disallowing LAN games. Its the same issue: the choice is being taken away of who I want to play with/against.
Highly Anticipated Bombing of Moon Decidedly Unspectacular

If the mainstream media had not labeled this experiment a "bombing of the moon", we wouldn't even be discussing this NASA experiment at all.

Well, I play games to escape the real world so to see advertisements that I can see on TV is just going to ruin the experience. Way to go Microsoft.
Bring back Bill Gates and get rid of that goon Ballmer.
Microsoft is 1/10th the company since Baldmer took over.
You Can "Massacre" Gmail Text Ads With Tragic-Sounding Sigs

Yeah, I noticed this recently myself ...
After noticing a bunch of ads start popping up about mortgages after receiving an email about my mortgage, I sent an email with the words cock suck fuck cum pussy and lo and behold, NO ADS. It doesn't have to be about murder and mayhem.

If the company can get a good bond rating or has a good bond rating, you might as well issue bonds for the financing.

Wow! All the p0rn you can eat.
Seriously, with all the garbage that is out on the web, that system in the end is going to spit a one page report that says, "IHOP - Open 23 hours".
