Future Tense: Letting Go of Yesterday's Tomorrows

Where is the paperless office?  ;)  Seriously though.... today we should be more paperless than what we are.  Go e-readers!

Great article!  It helped put things in a different perspective for me.  We all know that we've advanced a lot in the last 30 years, but yes it happened one day at a time and crept up on us; that's how it works.

Its funny how we can get so frustrated at/with technology now because our needs/wants/requirements change so rapidly.  If you were given the same technology 20 years ago that we take for granted today we'd think it was magic.

A Chrome Browser with Extensions Support? You Betcha!

Posted 09/10/2009 at 07:43:11pm

I use Chrome at work and at home.  funny... I'm currenly in FF.  haha.  normally I use Chrome exclusively, except for IE at work for Share Point and other IE only friendly sites.

I loved Chrome in Beta, I hate the current release cause it seems slow and chunky, but I now started using the beta again and it seems quicker.

I don't use extensions, I guess I'm not as much of a geek as I thought I am.  The ones I have used seemed to have some kind of "fall out".  slowed the browser down, browser crashed more frequently... Just figured it wasn't worth the hassle.

Anyway I got nothing against FF, I just seem to like the speed (betas) & minimalistic layout of Chrome.

Renesas Now Shipping Tiny, 1080p-Capable Cell Phone Processor

But its the recording that will be huge for mobiles.  Can you imagine the quality of the video you could capture at a concert!  I would assum there's other factors/issues (record speed requirments, zoom, quality of lens, etc.) that need to be considered before this would be a fully viable solution.

I think this is great and look forward to a day when I can take HD 1080p video for more than a few mins. on a cell phone.  One step at a time...
