Angry Xbox Modders Join Together in Class Action Lawsuit
Posted 11/20/2009 at 01:54:18pm
If you look at it closer you will see that if you mod it even if you do not intend to sell the xbox it is still against the terms because it is still usable for pirating things. It doesn't matter if you sell or don't pirate, if you give the appearance of it you will get nailed for it.
Microsoft isn't sueing them for breaking the EULA they are being sued for banning people which in the EULA they reserve the right to ban you for modding it. The EULA is a defense because they say you can be banned for doing those things therefore you have been warned and if you do it and they ban you it is your own fault.

Considering this was in the US and both parties were from and part of it. There is a right to free speech, and the right to publish what ever you want really. Who cares what word he used, if they were so concerned about that then they are dumb. People post crap like that everywhere and regarless of where it is someone will see it. Weather it is on their site or another it will be there. They asked a question that honestly if you ask that question you are going to get some pretty interesting answers. So he reposted it after it was deleted he has the right to be heard on what his experience was without being fired or persecuted for it.

What Microsoft needs to copy from Linux and Apple is the use of the Unix Kernel, and maybe a new file system to go with it. Or even making something like it and calling it by their own name or something.

Intel Under Fire in New York over Antitrust Accusations
Posted 11/04/2009 at 12:50:14pm
If the suit that is being filed against them now is the same as AMD filed but from a different source I would be watching AMD they could be the ones doing all the underhanded stuff because they are falling behind and by spending money on court fees and all that goes with it would slow Intel's R&D, and production there by giving AMD a perverbial chance to catch up. I am not saying Intel is perfect or not guilty, but come on most of the claims are coming from AMD and people they seem to have under their belt.
Gmail Plays Hide-and-Seek Over the Weekend, Users Not Amused

If it was a person using the email for work I can understand the irritation. As for just home users there are other forms of communication, cell phones, land lines, actually getting out of the house and going to see someone. I used to be stuck to my computer but after a while it does get boring. I have found that not being tied to my computer all the time is the best thing that has happend. Pick up some hobbies, because if you can sit there and tell me how long your google email has been down you need something else to do.
Acer Confident it Will Achieve Sales Goals of 40 Million in 2010

Have you tried Windows 7 out on anything yet? It works with a ton of things right out of the box, I have been messing with it since beta and it has always found everything of mine even an outdated TV tuner card. You may want to try it before knocking it. As far as the laptop goes when you bought it where ever you bought it from should have had a tag or disclaimer somewhere saying it was a Refurb that would be your problem as you didn't look into that fully before your purchase.

I like the article and it is helpful for the true ones, that being said, I do have a problem calling them registry hacks. It isn't a hack it is simply editing the registry and nothing more.
Apple Unveils World's First Multi-Touch Mouse

I would prefer to have a touch screen monitor than mess with that mouse.
