Any maxpc subscriber would never raid those 1.5 GIGABYTE drives.

Just pointing out the mistake that nobody seems to have noticed.

the "picture" shows a descritption of a laptop with 1.5GB of memory and 40 gb hard drive space(just pointing out some of the specs)

 not understandable what that has to do with the article (picture: me being very confused)

it's not a laptop but a desktop computer

I agree with you on that the guy who made this beta open got a better office and a raise if possible.

Win7 runs just a bit sluggish on 512 MB, with 128 MB used by the integrated graphics chip (this is my parents computer not mine, so please don't flame me). They might as well lower the minimum requirement specs. I can only congratulate the Win7 development team for what they achived.

I remember seeing this half a year ago, and even then I noticed right away that to beat a PC you need several High-end TOWER macs. What is the point of a mac if you need a tower for it. People buy macs because then they have less cables to deal with. This makes the mac kind of pointless if it is the same as a PC

thanks for clearing it up because i was already worring that something was wrong

and i know why i have only 148 or so GB then it said that i would have 160 GB (MS=1024kb=1mb, HD manufactors=1000kb=1mb)

canada doesn't have better broadband because in my area (BC, Okanogan) we pay 40$ for about 250-300 kps at the best, normally it is less like 150 kp.(download speeds)
