iTunes vs Zune vs Songbird: Music Organizer Showdown
Posted 02/09/2010 at 09:37:03pm
I use iTunes for the store, download podcasts, and sync stuff to my iPod Touch. I use Zune to play the music. It's weird but Zune uses less RAM and starts faster for me. I also like how iTunes has more options about Podcast management and you can easily convert the podcast to MP3 if you want. I would love to use Songbird but i have Windows 7 x64. Hopefully they release a x64 version some day. Honestly, i don't torrent so i don't have the issues that most people do with managing their 200GB + music library. iTunes and Zune works for me.I would NEVER buy music with a ZUNE Pass. After you stop paying all your music disappears expect for the 10 songs you get per month. That's a ripoff.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

I am still disappointed that this game is expensive. I was looking forward to buying this game months ago but since have heard alot of negative things. Mainly the lack of dedicated servers has bothered me the most since i am a PC gamer. I had a LAN party with my friends here, and my friend brought his MW2 for 360 so we could see it. First, i am soooo glad i don't use a 360. The game looked terrible compared to us playing COD4 on our PCs. Second, the lack of dedicated servers makes players jump around and the whole game seems to run much slower (game speed). The game speed probably just has to do with the 360 and the use of a controller. I just like how everything is much faster and faster paced with PC games. I will still buy MW2 because if love the COD franchise.....but they gotta lower the price.
Magic Mouse Drivers For Windows Emerge

First its wireless via bluetooth which isn't that great for response time. I had a microsoft bluetooth mouse that literally took 3 seconds to work after it went into standby mode. It was also very slugish. Its better to stick to a wired mouse from a good company like Razer or Logitech, the G500 looks awesome. I personally love my apple keyboard and logitech G5 for gaming.
NCSoft: Guild Wars II Probably Coming out in 2011, Beta in 2010
Posted 11/10/2009 at 10:30:23pm
This stinks. Guild Wars was probably my favorite game but its just old now. I was really hoping the game would come out in 2010. My B.S. is sucking my life away anyway. At least when the game comes out ill be done with college!!!!. Can't complain too much, hopefully its still free but it does look freaking awesome.
Has Windows 7 Already Lost to Mac OS X?
Posted 11/02/2009 at 03:10:59pm
They both have downfalls. I think OS X has the most because its only compatible with a few systems (MACs) and they still have issues with their OS and hardware (guest logon, 27 iMacs performance issues). If Apple allowed their OS on multiple comptuers as Microsoft does, OS X would have all the same issues Windows does. This is probably why they run the OS on their own hardware. Im just sick of people saying how Apple is better for video, music, and photography. They are only really are good for browsing facebook and not getting a virus. If you have the money you can implement a nice sound production system and do nice mixing. If you want to do real work, get a windows computer.

As If You Needed Another Reason Not to Buy Laptops from Office Depot
Posted 03/12/2009 at 11:50:41pm
I used to work as a sales associate in the tech department at Office Depot, and this is exactly what were supposed to do. I never did because i was interested in making customers happy and not ripping them off.
How To: Connect Your PC to Your Surround-Sound Audio System
Posted 02/17/2009 at 10:48:39am
Really explained alot of stuff. Unfortunatly my motherboard doesn't support Dolby Digital and only does PCM (intel p45 chipset), however my older motherboard did (intel G965 chipset) but still only did stereo in games. I usually use the spdif for music and use the analog to multichannel for games which works out great because it still does EAX 2 and thats good enough for me.
Circuit City's Liquidation "Sale" Still a Rip Off

No Deals at my CC. I agree with the article. They are going back to their MSRP and then marking down from there.
Give it a month or two.
