If they had taken the telco to court and won, then the residents would have almost surely be paying more. At the very least there would have been one more fee attached to thier bill to "cover costs and blah, blah, blah."

This really seems kind of silly. I would think that a touch screen or some simple arrow buttons would be just as easy, and more functional since you pan up and down as well as left and right.
Then again, it's not my money. So whatever.

Trust me, it was more than long enough. Half way into the first song was long enough. It makes me wish the Logan's Run crew wouldv'e made the 100th podcast.
I would bitch, but there's enough free goodness on MaximumPC that I can just let it go.
But if they introduce a character named Jar Jar on the next podcast, then I'll know not to listen to any more.

I don't know if you ever saw a kids show called the Electric Company, but there's a hero on it that could solve this problem easily. He would (conveniently) have the letters 'th' on his shirt, which he would rip off and then place them in the sentence to read "... a more attractive option than Intel...".
Then somebody would thank him.
