Apple Unveils World's First Multi-Touch Mouse

...but wouldn't this be painful to use for people with large hands? I can only see people under 5 years old using this without having to be rushed to the ER for cramped hand syndrome or Boneitis haha

Intel Unveils New Chip Logos, Star Rating System

I liked the old badge design, the more simple it is the better.  Just looking at all the Intel badges make me long to see the good old "Pentium II Inside" again.

Is Blu-ray Doomed?

Posted 12/27/2008 at 08:30:03am

Yes, I agree.  The whole Blu-Ray bashing is getting really old really fast.  Would you rather wait hours upon hours downloading a hi-def movie or just go out and buy the real thing (with all the special features included to boot) in less time?

But wait, current Blu-Ray discs might be replaced by...

"In December 2008, Pioneer Corporation unveiled a 400 GB Blu-ray disc, which contains 16 data layers, 25 GB each, and will be compatible with current players after a firmware update. A planned launch is in the 2008-2010 time frame for ROM and 2010-2013 for rewritable discs. Ongoing development is under way to create a 1 TB Blu-ray disc as soon as 2013."

Cinemassive Will Give You 12 Linked Displays For Just 13 Grand

That's just insane! This kind of display would be great for multitasking many different windows, but for games it looks lame, why not just spend the $13,000 on a sweet HDTV projector?

Gaming Not-Roundup: Is Pirating Spore the Right Thing to Do?

Posted 09/17/2008 at 09:25:48am

To bad about the DRM thing, that's disheartning to hear because I've always enjoyed those Maxis games. I remember even playing Sim City 2000 in my sleep hehe.

Just buy the game, give credit where credit is due, but don't install it.

Next, download the pirated copy and avoid the DRM. Win Win.
