Is Apple Using a Technicality to Avoid 3G License Fees?
Posted 11/21/2009 at 09:44:18am
And they pass the saving on to you... oh wait, no they don't. Mac's are the most expensive per underperformance price ratio around. It may save apple $290 Million a year but they are still making money off suckers who think a macbook, imac or mac pro are worth the apple tax. Get real qualcom, change your licensing fee's to include the sold price in store to collect and not the sold to apple price.
Steve Jobs is the Devil and loves it when someone plays with his loophole and he qualcomm's all over.

AT&T Tries to Get Verizon "Map for That" Ads Pulled From the Air
Posted 11/12/2009 at 10:37:36pm
For fuck's sake ATT. Stop your bitching. If you fixed your coverage area so those of us who have iPhones won't get F'd in the A when we get into BFE country and forced to wait for something to download like traffic or weather when it would matter. Also, stop dropping calls, I got a full bar with 3G listed and the call gets dropped to and from a land line. So Suck it ATT, keep it up Verizon, maybe ATT will finally fix something if you keep pointing it out.
Steve Jobs is the Devil and believes he doesn't have any service in a gray area :)

Now Available: Motherboards Equipped with USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps

I got 2 PCI Cards, a X-Fi Elite Pro card with it's breakout box and a Firewire 800 card that will soon be replaced bc of eSata. I saw the X-Fi fatality PCIe card with the optical in/out, that's what I use my breakout box for mostly, so I might be getting rid of my PCI cards soon enough but for now, leave them be. PATA ports need to go and so do the FLOPPY ports. USB sticks for RAID drivers and SATA Optical drives are cheap unless it's Blu-Ray but is Blu-Ray even available on a PATA interface... I doubt it.
Steve Jobs is the Devil and Blu-Ray, so suck on that new iMac owners.

PS - What good is better than HD resolution on an iMac if nothing in the near future supports it. All your 1080P movies will have to be stretched out to fill and then it won't look so crisp :(
How To: Use Your Windows 7 Upgrade Disk On a Fresh PC
Posted 10/27/2009 at 08:36:02am
I would've posted that myself but I figured I might get in trouble from Microsoft. Those are the steps they walked me through when I custom upgraded (clean install) over XP to 7 Home Prem Family Pack. I just explained that MS says for XP users to do a custom install to a clean drive and then restore all programs and files. So when it didn't work, MS is responsible for the fix. Had I know it was OK to post those steps, I would've done it last week and saved some headaches.
Steve Jobs is the Devil and Windows 7 wasn't his idea!

We Covet the Awesome $4600 30" LED LCD from Lacie
Posted 10/26/2009 at 03:16:37pm
Perfect for the person who pays $3500 for a Mac and doesn't realize there is much better for that price. They think, shit $6110, it must be the best. I've seen better and cheaper in my opinion.
Steve Jobs is the Devil and wants you to buy this monitor and then give him your arms and legs for that last year macbook model.

"LCD panel, measuring 7 inches slimmer than Samsung's full production"
The real article says 7mm slimmer. I couldn't figure out what LED's they released that were 7 inches thicker... Take care.
Steve Jobs is the Devil but he likes Pies (as long as it's Apple Pie)

Linksys WRT600N Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router
Posted 10/15/2009 at 09:50:14pm
I know Linksys has a newer version out, why would I want to spend $500 from Amazon. My theory is if it's no longer available on NEWEGG, it's old news and time for something new.

Logitech Z-5500 Digital

I've tried them but I love my Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 Ultras (THX Certified, 500 watts). Sure Klipsch doesn't make these anymore, but when they did, I still bought them off eBay for a kick ass price. Don't trust Logitech bc it wins by default.
