Is there any reason (other than greed) that monitors using ipl screens can not be made at a more affordable price point? something like 400 - 600 us dollars?

based on whats written above, i'm assuming that i5 will be weaker than i7.
That being said, shouldn't Intel be working on something greater, or more powerful than the i7?

I could very easily be mistaken, but last I heard, nobody used the cell processor.
not even the playstation 3, oh yeah, its in there, but so is a nvidia chip and I heard that all of the games for the ps3 are designed to run on the nvidia chip. Which was also "one" of the reasons why most of the games werent that impressive.
However, its been a while since i did any homework on console tech, so things may have changed and I just didnt notice.

I think its pathetic that serious and alledgedly sophicated dictionaries would allow any sort of that foolishness grace its pages. The tech talk that has made it into the dictionary should never have been there in the first place.
Let that kind of nonsense fill a tech, gamer or urban dictionary. It does not belong in a Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary.
