New Netbook to Pack Dual-Core Atom, Ion Chipset
Posted 08/24/2009 at 08:15:25pm
I don't know how you like to spend your time but the more you can do in less time the better. People like to surf the net as well as listening to music while using messengers maybe also seeing a movie. Theirs many ways to utilize the power of a dual-core which makes a computer run smoother. Netbooks are also personal preference, like most netbooks are around $200-$800 but they are mostly under 12 inches and sustain a decent battery life which you can compare to a $400 15 inch laptop that will only last you for 2 hrs of battery life. Yes, the 15 inch laptop will have way better performance at the moment but who wants to be carrying a 15 inch laptop that will only last for 2 hrs or less; I know I don't. Netbooks are known for their battery life and size not what its only intended to do. A better perfomance boost will not hurt as long as it maintains its size and a decent battery life.

It's about time theirs something of an intel atom 330 making it into netbooks after about 2 yrs atoms have been talked about going dual-core in a "netbook" but how much longer are we going to wait until they actually come out to the market.
Hopefully the battery last atleast 4 hrs solid or more but maybe im just asking too much, thats the whole purpose of a netbook battery life if it has a decent performance well more BANG for your BUCK.
Motherboard Makers Don't See Desktop PCs Making a Dramatic Comeback
Posted 08/14/2009 at 07:35:36pm
I understand that a laptop is portable enough to have all the components that a computer needs to run as well as a screen but most of top high end laptops cost almost a dream desktop machine that have half of the performance, after 1-2 hrs you need to go stationary to give it some more juice. I will always have a desktop that manages all my needs but as long as motherboard makers keep making KICK ASS motherboards, its the heart of it all.

Really easy building a PC for the ones that know what they are doing, wouldn't encourage anybody to build one. The trick is making sure that everything is compatible. But great video for the ones that are serious in building their own PC.
