Has Windows 7 Already Lost to Mac OS X?

Posted 11/02/2009 at 03:08:34pm

who hasn't been in a puter store or even best buy listening to the sales peon giving the  "pitch" to sell the one with the most profit.

15 min into the sale the customer asks...what color does it come in...

there are so many computer buyers that just do not have a clue as to what is inside the box nor do they care.

they kinda have a premade decision on what they want from watching tv and mail adds. they just want to be told that what they want....is what they need.... i have been there  >shame<  i almost bought a gatway because of the box it came in..

anyway it was months before i actually bought my first computer   and it didn't come in a pretty box

forget anything tech for lots of buyers   it's in the add they like most

Microsoft Pokes Some Fun at Apple's App Store

you better believe that this will work  i'm not picking a side i really do not care

if you say something, even if it is an untruth, long enough there are lots of people that will, over time believe it.

you do not have to actually know what is being said to understand that ms is making fun of app..... so some will come to believe that app is something to be laughed at..

look @ smoking for decades  the adds for tobacco would have you believe smoking was safe, and @ 1 time even made you healthier. (late 50's/early 60's adds would have you believe that smoking actually helped if you had a cold or flu)

even though over 450,000 people die each year from tobacco related illness.

you better believe marketing works

most tech support is a joke..........start on page 1 go through the pages and hope you get an answer to your customers problem..

i have actually seen some of the notebooks used by some tech support, first teir support help really does not know anything and sometimes knowledge is a deturrent.. your employer has a script  just follow it and you will be ok

page 33 " i'm going to have to reasurch your problem, someone will give you a call back with the information you need. thanks have a good day."
