Paul Allen, Microsoft Co-founder, Diagnosed with Cancer
Posted 11/18/2009 at 03:24:08pm
You can go ahead and delete my account as I refuse to live under "do as I say not as I do" ideology. I would also question the legality of trying to stifle free speech. I dont believe your Terms of Service circumvent that. You want people to be more mature? You mean like a TOS that includes rules like "dont make posts that suck". Thats sure isn't exactly mature.
Give me a break.
I can read copy and pasted news anywhere dooshbag.
Ciao.

Yep.....another Microshaft cringe moment. Sort of reminds me of the Walmart cheer. Cheesiness never works for a company.......oh....wait.

The real question is:
When was the last time he went to the dentist?
Study Finds 48% of Americans Willing to Pay for Online News
Posted 11/17/2009 at 04:27:57pm
Another study shows that the remaining 52% are calling B.S. on the the original 48%.
IOW....figures lie and liars figure.
Need further proof?
The story was printed by The New York Times....a newspaper. The "study" by BCG states "In addition, consumers are more likely to pay for online news provided by newspapers than any other media"
And who is the Boston Consulting Group? Their words:
"We partner with our clients to deliver customized solutions that resolve their most significant issues and create lasting competitive advantage".
I'll let you all put two and two together on that one. Funny thing about surveys....the outcomes can be slanted simply in how the questions are worded.
They are a CONSULTING firm. Just dig around their website a bit, see what they are all about, and this whole article falls to pieces pretty quick.

Microsoft: We Didn't Copy Mac OS X
Posted 11/12/2009 at 12:30:18pm
I dont know whats worse. The fact that a Microsoft employee went on the record talking about this or that Microsoft thinks we're all idiots, insulting everyones intelligence with a counter statement like we all dont know whats going on.
Trending Topics: It's OK to Google Yourself
Posted 11/11/2009 at 04:45:58pm
The article would have been much better if it didn't just come off as you just writing an article for yourself to justify vanity searches to yourself.
Of course theres nothing wrong with vanity searches.
Of course theres legitimate reasons why someone would want to search themselves.
And yes.....sometimes it's just vanity.
You dont need to justify yourself to anyone Veronica. Keep up the good work and dont feed the trolls.
Nvidia Hits Intel with Cartoon Sucker-punch

Seriously.....if you think these cartoons are funny than you are far beyond being a "geek" in the good way and are just a total "dork" in the bad way.
Streaming TV Isn't Cheap; Hulu May Start Charging for its Services in 2010
Posted 10/23/2009 at 08:14:45am
Oh no....I guess we will all have to go back to viewing all the free shows from the individual network sites again.....not to mention P2P.
Charge away Hulu. I think they may be overestimating themselves.
