US Researchers Ask for Cell Phone Safety Tax

Is there anything left that *wont* give you cancer, anymore? This sounds to me like a waste of government money and time, which explains why only an eighth of the committee bother's showing up to such an unnecessary discussion.
Amazon Offers Redelivery or $30 to "Kindle Remote Deletion" Victims
Posted 09/06/2009 at 12:44:50pm
From what I've heard on Amazon's forums, the annotations you make are saved on your Kindle and were not deleted with the offending books. The replacements they are offering are formatted identically to the originals and so the annotations line-up on their own.
Survey: Apple is Losing the College Crowd
Posted 08/21/2009 at 10:20:47pm
For the record, Apple has been bundling the basic iTouch with macs for several months now. Also, Macs own the $1000+ laptop market (they just broke 80%), so I think this shows more of a shift to lower priced netbooks then anything else. If Apple doesn't bring in a cheap laptop (and lets face it, they won't) they could lose this demographic.

Microsoft Skeptical of Firefox's 1 Billion Downloads Claim
Posted 08/18/2009 at 12:32:08am
My family of 4 has 7 computers over 2 internet hookups (one at work.) I have firefox on all of them and I've downloaded the new versions at least once on all of them. 1 billion is a pretty huge number, but I think comments by their competition aren't the most credible source to rely on. Maybe these number are unrealistic, I'm not sure.

Your Hardware Exposed! 22 PC Parts Bare All

I get his point though. They could have said "Electronic Devices" instead of "PC Parts." This is Maximum PC, so we can assume that it's going to be PC-related.

Nvidia Nonchalantly Introduces the ION LE

I believe the arguement is that casual gamers who require a little more power than intel graphics can provide will have less reason to shell out the dough for a real gaming platform. Blueberry Garden, for example, or maybe Penny Arcade Adventures require at least some sort of gpu power.
