Is Apple Really Too Cool to Sue Microsoft?

I just saw the commercial on CBS! They took out the 2ghz reference so I guess there will be no lawsuit.

Why is it ok for Apple to run ads saying that Windows freezes all the time but Microsoft cannot run ads stating that Windows based PC's are generally less expensive?

Ummmm.. FYI I pulled the RAM and hard drive out of a Macbook and used it in a clients Lenovo laptop.. there's nothing custom about it except the motherboard.

It's a very interesting concept but would Apple try to sue users who have OSX on a regular PC since the OS is licensed for Mac computers only?
It's kinda like how Apple is now blocking Palm Pre's from using iTunes to sync since they are not ipods.
Upset MacBook Air Owner Makes Subtle, Nuanced Pro-PC Argument

I likely will go ape like this on ours soon enough :) At work we bought 10 Macbooks to loan to our clients when their Macbooks broke... within 1.5 years, 6 are now broken and not due to user error (ie video card dying, motherboard dying, etc) We also ordered 40 Lenovo laptops... 1 of which is broken, and that was because a user accidentally cracked the screen.

lenovo.com - they are still considered one and the same even though they are 2 different companies. Lenovo does the hardware and IBM does the support.

I'd happily benchmark my ~$999 (CAD) laptop VS a $999 (USD) Macbook..
It's got 2gb DDR 667 RAM, 2.4GHz P8600 processor, 60gb solid state drive, XP Pro and a Nvidia 8600 GT video card in it. It also comes with a fingerprint reader and web cam built in..15" screen as well instead of a 13".
The current $999 Macbooks have 2ghz processorss and cannot be upgraded past this. 9400 series video cards tend to get 50-75% of the performance results of the 8600GT's. This is directly from benchmarks performed by Apple and friends.

So yeah... I'll put my computer up against theirs any day of the week :) Also, mine was purchased LAST year in Canadian dollars so it would cost even less this year and would cost well below $999 USD.
iPhone / iPod Touch Version 3.0’s Features Revealed – Does This Change Anything?

Ahahaha Apple is finally catching up and adding features that were available on many cell phones a decade ago. Even my reeeeeeeeally old Nokia monochrome screen cell phone (literally about the size of a brick) had most of these features.
I really dislike this company.
