Immunet just sounds like a bad idea. If it ever got compromised you'd have real-time updates to whatever malware the would-be-hacker fancies. An instant bot-net, if you will.

Why not use Acronis to image your freshly installed 7 as soon as you install it? Instead of reinstalling, all you need to do is just restore the image and you have a "fresh" OS without needing to do the upgrade stuff. That's what I do with Vista upgrade.

Isn't this what microsoft tried with Windows Passport? I thought that was ace but I still haven't found anywhere that actually uses it! It's all about information management. The forums want your info, OpenID and Windows Passport act as a barrier to them getting it so they don't use it! Makes sense from an advertising point of view.
