Microsoft Asks Businesses to Scrap Windows XP

Tell me, what fundamental change does Windows 7 have over Vista?
Too bad Vista will go down in history as a flop.
In XP, I used to see the "hall of mirrors" when dragging a window around. However, Aero never does that and I prefer its interface over the Fisher-Price green and blue of XP. Also, I feel that Vista doesn't slow down as much as XP when installing more programs. Vista introduced integrated start menu search, GPU accelerated interface, and shadow copy. Its a whole lot more secure and rarely BSODs.
What does Windows 7 bring over Vista? A new taskbar and a new perception.

Well most apps are still single threaded today, like Microsoft Word. Who needs i7's 4 (or 8!!! with HT) cores? A single core or and old dual core easily run Word and Firefox.

The Beach Boys sang about their cars, but custom-built high-performance PCs are the modern hot-rod. Nothing beats building your own PC from scratch -- you get exactly what you want, and you get it for a lot less. If you're reading this on a computer you built, hold your hand up to the screen right now -- we're giving you a big geeky high-five through the internet from your friends in Palette-Swap Ninja. This parody of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" was written for Maximum PC magazine's now-infamous musical 100th podcast. Keyboards and drums by Jude Kelley; guitar, bass, kazoo, and vocals by Dan Amrich.

I would have to have ANY Intel grpahics, even on die. 780G/785G/790GX is on par with a 6600gt/9400gt.
September 2005 - Dual-Everything!

Lets have a Dream Machine showdown!
I think DMX would have a tough time competing against a modern super PC though... It's dual 7800GTX are nothing compared to tri GTX 285s or dual 4870X2s. Its two very last gen GPUs competing against three or four modern GPUs. Even a $130 4870 would handily destroy dual 7800GTXs.
8GB of ram seems impressive, but in DMX, its DDR400 and registered. The core i7 can use triple channel DDR3; the fastest DDR3 on newegg is DDR3 2133.
However, the DMX would probably destroy 90% PCs sold today, thanks to Intel's pathetic integrated graphics...DMX has four cores, nearly 2TB storage. Thats pretty impressive

In vista, it should be under C:\Users\((YourNameHere))\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\74lik94b.default\chrome
In it, paste these lines:
