I have the same issue too. It seems to stem from downloading the 64 bit version and trying to unpack it on a 32 bit machine. I found this thread which has instructions to fix it. I'm at work so I hope to try it when I get home later.

360 controller? I still have my original Gravis pad in the basement from over 10 years ago. The gamepad is not a new idea for the pc, and I wish thesedevelopers would figure it out.
