I deal with customer computers infected with Antivirus XP at work all the time. It is a royal pain in the ass to get rid of.
I've been wondering how so many people can repeatedly get infected with the same virus, but if Google is hosting a link to it I guess that answers my question.

Exactly...to me, it's price/performance over all.


As for the article, it's about what I expected...i7 vaults Intel into an entirely new stratosphere of performance. That gaming bug will get fixed before they are released. I doubt I'll be able to get one any time soon...but I will ASAP.

I always wonder if all of you Vista bashers have even used it...or have just fallen victim to popular opinion. I've used Vista for over a year and a half and love it more than I ever did XP...which I used since its launch. Admittedly, it sucked ass at first, but so did XP...if you recall.

I know he's being facetious, but if Spore sold 1 million copies, 0.2% would be 2000. Considering there are 2632 and counting 1 star reviews on Amazon alone, I'm willing to guess the amount of people that thought Spore's DRM was complete and utter bullshit is just a tad more than that.

Way to try and downplay the pounding your company took for its absurd renting scheme.

I highly advise anyone who is the slightest bit interested in trying out Crysis Wars to do so. It rules!

If you played the first Crysis, you will be absolutely amazed how much better it runs. On the same system I had to run the first one at 1280x1024 and medium settings, I'm running Warhead at 1920x1200 with a mix of high and very high settings and getting 30-60 FPS. It's like a whole new game at those settings!

Steam = win

Unless there is a "can't live without" pre-order offer or collector's edtion, I get all of my games through Steam. Warhead and Crysis Wars combined was over 15 gigs...so I can't see Rage exceeding any kind of size threshold.

I can almost gurantee that I wouldn't have bought Gears of War 2 even if it came to the PC. But I am so sick of Cliffy the Douchbag B. talking shit about and straight-up turning his back on the people that got him where he is that I will NEVER even CONSIDER buying another Epic game again. Maybe if you released more than another Unreal Graphics Upgrade every couple of years, III wouldn't have been such an EPIC fail. Hell, Gears of War is nothing but third-person Unreal...same art design, same character models, same war-torn setting, same mechanics.

Here's a tip for you Cliffy...maybe, just maybe, it's time for you to stop and think that maybe the gaming world has moved past lamely over-the-top twitch shooters that scream "OVERKILL!!!! at them. It was great in '99...not so much now. Make games that people want to play, and not just a rehash with better graphics, and people will buy them. Then you can quit using piracy as an excuse to pander to the easy money console crowd.
