It's so ironic a single article of electronics that costs almost $2000 can be classified as "mid-range". I've got a Canon myself, but per use photography has to be one of the most expensive hobbies in existence.

I was going to say the same thing. Why is it even necessary? Games don't even saturate a PCI-E 1.0 bus. Why the hell do we need 3.0?

 i guess I should know why...to sell more hardware. Nothing like a shiny new slot and buzzword to make people rush to Newegg the day it's released.

Definitely gonna keep an eye out for Kick-Ass. I've been waiting for a comic book movie that leans toward the realistic side.

Can't blame them for watching their own ass. The fallout from a virus attack that propagated itself through their servers would be 1000x worse than 16.4 million people experiencing a slight and temporary inconvenience.
