Study: Firefox is the Most Vulnerable Browser

Does this take into account whether or not the vulnerabilities have been addressed?  I don't personally consider reporting vulnerabilities a bad thing.  Low vulnerability reporting doesn't mean that the vulnerabilities don't exist, just that no one knows about them, and therefore cannot work on patching them.

Murphy's Law: Is a Firefox 3.5 Really That Fast?

Posted 07/01/2009 at 03:05:37pm

So, chrome is faster, I get it, and by a margin measured in the same units usually reserved for things like blinking.  I like google, I even own stock; so as soon as they add support for extensions we'll be good to go.  Don't get me wrong, faster is better, even if it's just a tiny bit.  No extensions is a deal breaker, hands down, end of story.  I just can't see giving up all that cutomization for a very small speed increase.

In my experience bing gets terrible search results compared to google.  I also can not seem to convince it that even though I live in Germany I speak english and am solely interested in sites in english.

That works, but there's something to be said for having a dedicated system to handle your home theater needs.  Call me crazy, but sometimes (read: all the time) I like to surf the web while I'm watching tv.  I could pause the show and use the computer hooked to the tv, or I could walk across the room and use my gaming rig.  I find the most convenient thing is to just have my laptop on the couch with me so I can watch the show and surf at the same time.

New Gmail Feature is Hoping to Steal Users From Hotmail, Yahoo, and AOL

The main advantages would probably be the ability to search your email effectively and actually having a spam filter that filters spam.  Built in live chat with video is also a plus in my book.  Customizable filters, free pop3/imap integration... I'll post more as I think of them.
