Now that is priceless.
The Mac-istas, though, will still probably find a way to spin it in their favor. :|

Microsoft Could Lose up to 8.5 Billion in “Vista Capable” Lawsuit
Posted 01/24/2009 at 02:11:27pm
I'm wondering just how this got as far as it did. Remember, there were two 'ready' levels: "Vista capable" (meaning the computer could run the OS), and "Vista ready" (which meant 'can run eye candy', basically.)
Can't people do a tiny bit of research as to what means what? Weren't salespeople educated as to what meant what?
Oh yeah, I forgot: in the US, no one is responsible for their own (non-criminal) actions - it's always another person's (or, better, a corporations) fault. Grr.

New Video Game Sparks Old Question
Posted 07/18/2007 at 06:47:20pm
As you said, Paul, "vote with your wallet." As morally ambiguous (at best) as some may find the game, no person or company is forcing any one to buy it, or to play it. Just like GTA (which, might I remind people, couldn't be purchased by a minor anyways, due to the game's rating.) ~Cup *nearly every day of my life is some kind of computer hell*
Car != Computer, and I'll take the latter!
Posted 05/29/2007 at 10:51:16pm
Dave, the "sheet of plastic" is there for a very good reason: it seals the inside (your climate-controlled clean, dry side) of the door from the outside (nasty, dirty, wet) of the door. Hence the terms 'insulation' and/or 'water barrier.' :P And, I'm a car guy by trade - dealership tech. That said, in my off time, I'd much rather work on a PC. But, I still enjoy the cars (most of the time.) Admit it - you had yourself some fun, though, yes? ~Cup *nearly every day of my life is some kind of computer hell*
