Political Group Proposes a Kindle for Every Student
Posted 07/17/2009 at 06:46:16am
I agree with the above comments. Replace it with something more reliable, like an Eee PC. Not only do they get something that reads a textbook, they get something to write their essay on, and complete a powerpoint for class. To limit the design to the small little kindle, why waste our money. Kindle's been around two years, two versions, and a third on the way. And by the way, 10 BILLION could be used to make currently run down, improperly maintained schools create a better working environment for the students and the new generations of learners.
We can't give them toys in a building that is falling down.

You have made it sound really simple, but I am lost when it came to codec sniper and figuring out which codec to remove. I removed all divx codecs I could find, yet WMP stills plays them!! I completely rebooted and uninstalled DivX from my machine. You have done a great job with overall walkthrough. Would you mind maybe posting some of the codecs you removed through codec sniper, it would help a ton!
RIAA Are Sore Losers, File Appeal in File-Sharing Mistrial
Posted 10/18/2008 at 10:18:36am
We've all probably done the same thing, shared files with friends or used napster(back in the day) to get that song we wanted. We take the risk, we know the consequences. Jammie Thomas didn't heed warnings telling her she would be sued if she continued to file share. If she "saw the signs" yet continued to share, it's her own fault. But if the RIAA wins, we could all be in the same place as her.
Infinity Ward-Helmed Call of Duty 6 on Track for 2009 Release

The issue I've seen with the COD4 is that only one person can connect to xbox live per console. Unlike HL3, where you can play up to four players per xbox, it limits families who only have one system, but multiple xbox live accounts. I also found an issue with being able to connect four players per xbox while in system link mode, ruining our chances of LAN parties at friends houses. I love COD, but I'm forced to play HL3 due to this ability. And believe me, I'm a little worn out on playing HL3.
