I use Windows, OSX, and ocassionally a live linux disc.  They all work, they all crash, they all need to be updated frequently.  I think the commercials are funny, but hell if windows didnt break i would be jobless and homeless.  If MAC ever takes over the market, then every one will attack it and we will see its over priced, buggy, and prone to viruses/spyware as is anything that is popular.   I have an ipod as well as an iphone, i have had windows mobile phones and blackberries, they all crash too!  I think they keep their price high so they can brag about having less problems, no one tries to break them!  Plus you can only install the OS on their equipment, (besides the new article about hackintosh) which limits the risk and limits the "crashing".  You can install windows on anything, if a toaster had a hard drive it could run windows, and yes it would burn your house down eventually or at least your toast.  They do not limit what it can be installed on, so the risks are limitless but the benefits are limitless as well.   But still as long as this mag is out, most of us reading it depend on these things breaking to make a living haha.

Shutdown Gmail, i would cry.... hell shut down all email why dont you.  If you go that far just shut off the internet, its technically all hackable at some point intime and will have a flaw some day.  Lets put everything back to paper, cut down some more trees.... This entire idea is stupid, so google goofed up, it happens all the time.
