Google Demonstrates Limits of "Open Source" for Android

Unless they provide a way to distribute software through other means, Market shouldn't be only obtainable through a Google device.
I've looked at SlideMe, but I can't get apps I've already paid for from there.
Too much to ask that the Android Market be downloadable as a separate component?

Adblock is first and foremost, the rest I can live w/o:
Easy DragToGo
Gestures
Tab Mix Plus (I prefer new tabs to be adjacent to current on right side, and closing tab goes to left adjacent tab next)
Xmarks (or any other bookmark manager that stores online)

So has this always been in existence, or is this in addition to the 2.9% we already pay on goods sold? Seems now they're charging the buyer 2.9%, AND the seller 2.9%. Can someone verify?

$611 for mobo, case, and psu. That's expensive to me.
