 These seem like pretty good changes IMO. I think they'll offer more multi-tasking options than before. You can now keep track on multiple things easier. I think once the public beta is available, I'll give it a spin!

 But lets wait and let ghot tell us how shitty this will be, what a failure Windows 7 is going to be because of this and that Microsoft doesn't know what the hell it's doing and can't make an operating system to save it's lif.

 So you hate Windows, and you hate Ubuntu (and most likely every other Linux OS because of command line stuff)... Maybe you should finally get a Mac and leave us all alone. Or why not just stop using computers altogether? Seems no one can do anything that makes you happy.

 There's only so much you can do to speed up a computer's boot-time. They could add SSD drives to all PC', but then that increases cost, but even then, that'll only do so much...

 Would MPC ever consider reviewing this card (or one like it) against an ATI or nVidia card for HTPC tasks ONLY? I wonder how it would perform, and if maybe it'd work well in the next HTPC that I build, instead of going with a Radeon

 When i've purchased Half-Life games off Steam, that include games I already own, I've been able to give my duplicates to someone else (I've been nice and just gave them away) however, I think if I get Left 4 Dead via this pack, I might re-sell the extra games as I have all of them (except for Peggle Extreme)

 You do realize that PC stands for Personal Computer. Which covers a huge range of products. Your cell phone could be considered a personal computer, Blackberry, iPhone, Android phone, oh ya, and a Mac. A Mac is just one type of PC out there.

I've been going over in my head, what I'd like for my future living room (when I get a house) and one of the things that I'd really like, is a touch-screen PC to control my music, and provide internet access in a central location. This, I think, is what I've been looking for. Let's see how it looks once the price is released. Maybe it'll get more appealing, maybe it'll get less. Only time will tell!

 That was really cool. I tuned in to CNN just to see the holigraphic interview! However, I only saw one. but it was still really neat. Very well done too. You could see an ever so slight lag, however it was awesome!
