I pay for it because I don't have a laptop and it's much easier to just bring the magazine into the bathroom with me than to drag the whole rig in when I'm going to be sitting on the toilet for an extended amount of time.  :-D

I had a 300 baud modem for my Commodore 128 back in the early 80's...I remember calling into the few BBS's that I could find and chatting with the SysOp's or, if I was lucky, finding a board that would allow you to chat with 2 or 3 people at the same time.  These interwebs are alot easier on my phone bill than those days(well, I guess it was my parents phone bill then...)! :-D

My 1st computer was a Texas Instruments 994/a, then I upgraded to a Commodore 64, then a Commodore 128...I didn't make it to the PC party until I bought an Acer 486sx.  :-D

I was a computer science major my 1st year of college in 1985 and I remember saving my FORTRAN work on punch cards...those were a pain.

Palit seems to have a hard time producing their products though...I waited for months for their 1gb 4870 card to hit the retailers but gave up after Xmas and went with another brand, I still haven't seen it anywhere yet(at least here in the U.S.) and it's almost March.
