EA Recommends Hilarious Work-Around for Red Alert 3 CD Key Issue

Posted 11/04/2008 at 09:17:53pm

That is an "interesting" way for EA to address the issue. Just guess! I'm sure lots of people have just done that already.. And there really isn't a better solution, except giving everybody new CD Keys. Of course, EA should have been careful, you have to have the exact details. I mean leaving out the product key is pretty sloppy...

Microsoft Justifies Its Windows 7 Naming Decision

Posted 10/15/2008 at 05:08:07pm

Haha that is interesting....

First Core i7 then Windows 7.. haha found that weird.

Like other posters, I definetly hope they stick to this naming scheme.. instead of jumping around.

But to me it doesnt really matter.. but I still dont know which one came first, WinME or 2000?

(I'm pretty sure ME though)

Mac Users Are Whiny Losers. Love, Maximum PC

1. So do I - I still use linux.

2. Nobody writes their own drivers..... well.. since like 1990!

3. Ubuntu has the app manager, which is even easier than xp. You browse around, check a few apps and bam, their installed! I agree a couple applications you have to compile, but usually you don't need those anyway.

And so what if we don't have the $$ to have great mac vs pc -like advertisments?? I bet more people would use linux if they knew what it was.

And also, we're free and open source, hard to argue with that. And if you STILL are not opening up to the idea of it, great! We don't care, we don't stand to gain if you don't like our shit. So go around bashing it all you want for no stupid reason.

Thank you and have a nice day :) .

Exclusive! Spy Shots of a Socket 1160 Lynnfield Motherboard

Posted 08/23/2008 at 11:29:00am

This is really sad. First of all users (especially non-pwr users) are gonna be really confused about all the different names and sockets. Second, is x58 going to be only high end? What if your going to upgrade when the socket (lga1366) gets cheaper? Will it get cheaper?

And what price level will this socket be for... I wonder what Intel's definition of high end is....
