For the dude asking for free 3d software, check Blender and Wings3d. The last one is mostly a modelling solution. Blender is a full-on 3d software solution.

Gmax has been cancelled, but you can still get it. I recommend Blender.

Have fun :)

Edit: Also check Cinema4d at http://www.maxon.net/ Last time I checked you can buy the software in modules, so you can buy what you plan to use. Also it seems to be a big discount going on right now.

Edit 2: The discount is only if you already own a 3d program, sorry .

Goddammit, people. At least give your eyes and brain a few minutes to adapt before spewing all this negative comments.No one with take you seriously if you make an analyisis this quick about a design change. Specially when your comments come out so bitter and vulgar.
