...can i still use this a a formidable media player offline? i liked the part about being able to use external drives and such, but of the connectivity options, it seemed like it needed a network connection to be able to effectively work.
i could have misread it amongst the awesome article, but if it's 150$, i think i might want that instead of a blu ray player for my new television, since i have alot of movies and series across a few drives...

does this also work on websites that do not have immediate pop-ups? there are a few places i visit that don't have pop-ups until i click, say, the background on the homepage. i will definitely check this site out tonight after work.

i mean, it's a good program and all, but animated GIFs should be compatible too, right? i have a few in my collection, but all i see is the thumbnails for them. i wish they could animate, or if Picassa implemented an "Animate GIFs" option check box or something.

i guess anyone can create a purpose for folding nowadays. I wonder if they will have a "Fold for a better economy". i might pick up folding then.

maybe instead of ads, they can add pedestrians to the NFS series. racing on empty streets is boring. i don't mind the ads - i don't usually look around much, and focus too much on the game to notice. at least they are not wanting to advertise on a ad ticker at the bottom of cutscenes...then they would have gone too far.

too bad it destroys files from one's HDD. i would like to see one that gets rid of pesky viruses, and a defrag tetris, that in real time, defrags your HDD while you play it.

is it really better (even a little bit) to leave a PC in sleep mode all the time? i thought turning it on/off completely was the way to save. for short periods of time, i think sleep mode is preferable, but for longer periods, like a vacation, maybe turning it off would be beneficial?
