I don't believe I, Jedi has a clue what goes into the making of Maximum PC such an awesome magazine.
I for one understand that this article is just a round up. I understand it's not the primary mission of your magazine to issue "breaking news" on underground hacking. I think the rest of us understand that the focus of Maximum PC is to tell us the straight scoop on personal computing and consumer electronics products.
There's already a great "hacking" publication called 2600. It's been in circulation since 1984. If you want "breaking news" on the hacking community, that's the place to be. MaximumPC's article on hacking consumer electronics is perfectly timely and informative for the rest of us. I Jedi seems to be the only one sweating the fact that you're Maximum PC and not the monthly edition of 2600.
Perhaps I Jedi overlooked it in his rant over your missing his arbitrary deadline.
Whose Kindle Is It Anyway?

That Amazon can REMOTELY DELETE content off your Kindles!
Look at what happened when Apple discovered someone posted the Shaken Baby app on their App store. Apple removed the offensive application from the App store. Apple did NOT pre-emptively reach across all those iphones and delete the app from customers' iphones.
Not going to buy a Kindle. EVER. Forget that creepiness. I wonder if there's a way to jailbreak Kindles.

Who writes your tech articles -- Joan and Melissa Rivers?
This article isn't even an actual REVIEW! Why are you blaming AT&T 's foot-dragging on MMS and tethering on Apple? All Apple did was provide support for the feature so that it would be availabe once AT&T gets off its collective, lazy, massive a*s to put it out!
I see articles like this and I get the impression that MaximumPC's journalistic integrity is in question. Since when does MaximumPC CRUCIFY a product before it's even been released?
Has MaximumPC now resorted to bashing products before even subjecting it to a review? For crying out loud, this is the sort of fluff-journalism I'd expect from a tissue-paper journal like PC magazine, not from MaximumPC.
Here's to the most unprofessionally written castigation of a consumer electronics product I've ever read.

Windows 7 Offers Six Ways to Play

...after learning that M$ is going with SIX versions of Windows 7! M$ doesn't care about computer users. What they care about is bloating your system, slowing it down, and shaking computer users down for every last penny they own. I wish Steve Jobs would get off his behind and put OS X on shelves for non-Apple computers. Computer users would stampede Apple stores nationwide.
