Chrome 3.0 Now Available, Offers Native Support for Themes
Posted 09/16/2009 at 12:25:43pm
Already having problems with this update. It wont allow downloads started in incognito mode to show up in the downloads tab. So if you start more than 5 downloads you can't view their progress and you can't view any download speed on any of the downloads. I wish my Chrome hadn't auto-updated.

The colors don't bother me, but I hate being redirected by the ad's on either side of the page everytime I accidentally click there. I don't mind the ad's being there, just don't make them clickable.
Motorola Launches First DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem
Posted 06/04/2009 at 12:07:18pm
When I was reading this I was thinking "God this thing is gonna cost a ton and nobody is going to adopt it for a long time" and then I get to the end and it's $100. Why would anyone invest $50-$75 in a DOCSIS 2 modem now? It's about time that something that helps you adopt the latest technology also doesn't make you take out a second mortgage on your house.
3D Realms Not Dead Yet, No Thanks to Take-Two
Posted 05/19/2009 at 09:44:52am
I want to hear 3D Realms cry when this game becomes the most pirated game of all time. I'm just going to sit back and soak it up.
MSI Prices Its Touchscreen All-In-One Wind Top

I'll most likely pick one up for that price and upgrade the HDD and RAM. I just hope it has wifi right out of the box, so I don't have to use a USB stick for it.
Five Things You Need to Know about Fallout 3: The Pitt

I have not played this piece of DLC but I already know one thing about it. It is the perfect thing for people to pirate. People are going to complain that it was to short and that there wasn't enough content to justify them to spend $10 on it, so they will go the The Pirate Bay and download it. I'm sure that it was the same for the first piece of DLC too. People always seem to find a way to justify downloading stuff so that they don't feel like they are stealing it, just getting what they deserved for the price that they feel like paying.
AMD, Intel Want More Data Public in x86 Licensing Fracas
Posted 03/18/2009 at 04:27:34pm
They're hiding how much money they screwed everybody out of and I assume it is a huge sum, but I don't care about that anymore, I just want this to get settled between these two companies. I am an Intel fan and won't use anything else, but I really want AMD and Intel to get this sorted out soon. I don't want AMD to go out because that would leave VIA as Intel's only competetion and they aren't much competetion at all. And if AMD goes out they would take with them the stuff they are sharing with Intel and that would mean the possible end of the Core I7 chips, which would also suck. Not to mention the rise in prices of Intel chips both Core I7 based and Dual/Quad Core chips.
Windows 7 Beta Download Extended Until Feb. 10

But even with is specs, even if he's running XP, it would severely hinder performance. Running the 2 OS's at once would kill any speed increase of 7. His best bet, in my opinion, would be to partition off a section of his HDD, if he has enough space, and dual boot 7 and XP/Vista. That way he could retain his main OS for everyday stuff and mess around in 7 for fun. I would only do this though after backing up all critical files, just to be safe.
“Very Different” Team Fortress 2 Mode Incoming, New Class Possible
Posted 01/22/2009 at 09:23:08am
Tell me what changed between 1 and 2 other than the graphics and the small tweaking of some of the gameplay mechanics? What if in Portal 2 all they do is update the graphics and changed the layout on some of the maps they already had? Or what if when Duke Nukem Forever comes out all they did was update the graphics of Duke Nukem from the N64? We waited 10 years and they didn't add anything significantly new, other than the new graphics.
