I thought we were all going to die in 2012?! NOW what do I do with all that spam and powdered milk I was saving?
Seriously, though, we aren't that far off. Look at Crysis, when every leaf is rendered individually, do you really need much more? (Although ten to fifteen years ago I'm sure they were saying the same thing about games like doom)

Asus has been offering that on most (if not all) of their notebooks sold on newegg for awhile now. It's not really advertised, but they come with 2 yrs. parts/labor and 1 yr accidental damage. It's on the specs page.
I do like the looks of this, specs wise. Anyone know what iBp's service is like?

My phone is fast, but it runs WinMo 6.1, not XP. I would think an atom would be better than an upclocked smartphone chip.

I want to see 8Gb/s. Why? Becuase thats 1GB/s, a nice speed.

Why they didn't use one of the new Mobility Radeon 4870 x2's. Although they do only have 1GB of memory, wouldn't it be faster? I know that's what I would put in the ultimate gaming notebook

When the government interferes with your private mp3s, or gives a company the ability to do it, that's Communism. The fact of the matter is, things like this only make people want to illegally download mp3s more. So far, all of my mp3's are legally purchased, but if they keep being such a constant nuisance, that may change.

1. 1.33gHz Atom? That's slower than almost all other netbooks (run a 1.6 gHz)
2. Where's the touchpad? I understand the value of a reasonably sized keyboard, but how do I control the mouse?
3. $900?! I can get a full-fledged laptop with a dual core processor and even dedicated graphics for less. Yes, inegrated GPS and 3G is nice, but my Blackjack 2 does all that, for $50.
4. Is 2GB of RAM even going to be worthwhile with such a slow processor?
