Illegal Music Downloader's Spend "The Most on Music"

Posted 11/02/2009 at 03:21:55pm

I respectfully disagree.  There is certainly a difference between physical theft and copyright infringement, which is what downloading music illegally entails.  In the former case, the property that once belonged to one person or group no longer does, because you have taken it from them.  In the latter case, it would be similar to making a "copy" of the person's property, so that now you own it as well.  Intellectual and physical property are different, my friend.

I don't know about how others browse the web, but when I am at my computer I always have my right hand on my mouse, making the mouse pointer snapping in Win7 much more convenient than using "Win key + arrow keys"

ATI HD Radeon 5870: The Fastest Videocard Ever (PS It's $380)

Posted 09/23/2009 at 02:44:03pm

The human eye can certainly see more than 24 FPS.  If you disagree, then you must go to google right now and research it yourself.  Movies and TV shows are usually shot on 24 FPS because of MOTION BLUR.  Motion blur that is caught on video, when played at a 24 FPS slideshow, appears smooth.  Video games are not replaying pre-recorded video.  They are rendering in real-time, and there is no motion blur (although some games try to simulate it, but fail) to make the image look fluid at 24 FPS.  For this reason, I agree with the previous poster in that 36 FPS in games doesn't really cut it for perfectly seamless, fluid gameplay, which is what I enjoy (it helps with the immersion factor).

This is obviously a matter of opinion, but to say that the human eye cannot percieve any higher than 24 FPS is just ignorant.

Cache, RealTemp (V. 3.00 at least) does have an option to display your GPU's temperature. To enable this, go to the main window of RealTemp, click "Settings" in the bottom right corner of the window, and under "System Tray Settings", check the box under "GPU".  You can enable the program to display the temperature of all four cores as well as the GPU, as well as set alarms for each.  You can even change the color of the font in the system tray for each =D
