Barack Obama Campaigns Inside Your Xbox 360 Games
Posted 10/14/2008 at 02:11:54pm
I have no problem with advertisements of any sort being in a game... so long as they fit the theme. If your game is supposed to be taking place during the lead up to an election campaign, and the situation was not out of context, I see no harm. Now if I was playing NHL 09 or Madden 09 and saw a Stephen Harper slapped all over the ice, or Obama on the sidelines, then I take issue, as you wouldn't see this in real life; however, you could very well see an Obama billboard on the side of the road.

3840x2160 produces four times the pixels of 1080p:
3840 x 2160 = 8,294,400 pixels
1920 x 1080 = 2,073,600 pixels
8,294,400/2,073,600 = 4
Early Chrome Adopters Reverting Back to IE, FF
Posted 09/24/2008 at 09:40:08am
I am one of those early Chrome adoptors that moved back to FireFox after playing with the browser for a couple of weeks.
My reason for doing so is likely not to be different from that of others: lack of extensions and important features. I can't access my RSS feeds and I don't have my extensions I use everyday.
None the less, I still use Chrome on occasion, when I know I am not planning on using these features I rely on FF for... if, for example, I am going to be visiting some PHP message boards, I'll stick with Chrome because of its significantly faster loading times.
Chrome has (so far) won me over. Once the features I crave are available, I will likely be moving straight to it....

Not to nit-pick, Paul, but I believe Forbe's list is for the 400 richest Americans, not the world... that is still a lot of very rich Yanks.
Newegg Coming to Canada

This is GREAT news! I've been using NCIX and Direct Canada for some time now, and their prices have been great, but NewEgg's buying power allows them to drive down prices even further than these two great companies. I can't wait to take advantage of the new found competition.
