"So, on a completely unrelated topic, what’s everyone playing this weekend?"

 So to answer your question.  I'll be playing WoW this weekend.  Ran Ulduar, Onyxia, and daily heroics yesterday, and plan on some ToC tonight.  Will not be buying or ever playing this new CoD.  It is apparent that IW and Activision's focus is on the console and not PC.  Unfortunate too...the game had so much potential, and MW was outstanding.  The PC will always be the best way to play these games, if these games were actually designed with PC gamers in mind.  My Digital Storm machine is a monster that eats PS3's and Xboxs as snacks, and I really can't believe that a website titled "Maximum PC" is even giving this game any press.  Thank you Blizzard for understanding who your clients are and continuing to focus on them.  You can gladly have my $...you have earned it.

And I'm still not getting the facebook thing anyway.  I have hundreds of friends, and yes it's kind of great to see people that you haven't seen in years.  However, the process of typing and posting your every event in life is ridiculous.  Go there now and look at your "wall."  How many posts and pictures are of redundant everyday things that you could care less about.  Lol, for example 

"Heading off to work...wishing it was Friday."

 "Going on vacation to Myrtle Beach...yippee."

"About to enjoy a great breakfast cooked by my husband...yummy."

 Just eat your pancakes, take your trip, get your work done and shut up about it already.  Let me know when something important and halfway exciting happens.

Like I keep telling my old FPS buddy.  Stop spending all your time on these low budget mmos/rpgs and start playing a real game like WoW.  Same thing but only for the pros.

Unfortunate.  I was so excited when the game came out, only to be greatly disappointed.  Terrible performance, glitches, graphics, etc.  The gameplay is a great idea, but I could never get past the horrible performance and lack of advanced graphic settings.  I do use a high end machine and expect MUCH more from game developers.  Sad, cuz I really wanted this one to work.  This only sounds like the end, which was destined the day it released.

Overall Blizzard is making it happen.  Yes I laugh at the idea of buying a pet, as I don't even pursue them in game.  However, there are many out there that will find it nostalgic and /cheer ("for the horde") to them.  Different strokes for different folks.  It makes about as much sense as people acting crazy over athletes trying to put a rubber ball in a hoop.

I wont be buying this game now.  9v9!?!?!  Lol.  UT2004 was better than that, and that was ages ago.  And no I'm not buying console...I've grown up now and can afford a man's toy.  This is unfortunate too.  I was so pumped on buying this game.  Oh well, I guess I'll just roll another worthless alt in Azeroth.

I'll be first in line for a WoW movie, but I agree that there are better choices.  Maybe a Half Life series.  At least we'll finally get the ending.

poor AoC.  They should just pull the plug now.  I played AoC for a year, and was very successful ingame with the Black Hand guild.  However, the game sadly became redundant and worthless.  Too bad, the game really had potential, but Funcom lost sight of both the customer and the product.

I can't get into Aion either, and it's disappointing.  I have several AoC friends and exguildies that are playing Aion and wanting me to join up.  I tried....I really did, but the music alone was driving me mad.  The game is a grind, and boring.  AoC and Lotro are pretty too, but I gladly left both.
