I did find some of the ideas for future notebooks to be rather ingenious, but I don't think making them thinner that the MacBook Air is a good idea, since there are already claims that it was accidentally tossed out!

Why would the iPod come back completely wiped clean of data? To me it sounds like they might have replaced your model with a new duplicate purchased at wholesale prices...
