Posted 11/07/2009 at 12:39:30am
Yeah some of my friends appear to have had their Facebook accounts hacked because "they" have been posting links to phishing sites on people's walls.

Study: Most Americans Support a Texting-while-Driving Ban
Posted 11/02/2009 at 06:07:36pm
I'm with most of America on this one. Complete ban on texting while driving, and requiring a hands-free device for talking. (Although other people have brought up good points about you still need to look at the phone or push a button to start or accept a call on most models AFAIK.)
Also I'll be the first to admit that I'm a hypocrit and have texted while driving on one occasion and do not have a hands-free device [although as it stands, I only drive for a total of a few hours every year thanks to public transit].

I don't know what Google has been doing to their back-ends, but whatever it is, Google Maps refuses to work for me any more in Firefox without freezing (probably an extension conflict since it works fine on the school computers running FF). Thank god for IE Tab I guess.
Digg’s New User-Supported Ad Model is Raking in the Dough
Posted 10/15/2009 at 03:27:40pm
I have neither clicked on any nor have I Dugg any. Of course I haven't seen any of them either since I run a plethora of ad-killing extensions for Firefox for an ad-free web experience so I guess that's a moot point? :P
CryEngine 3 Now in the Hands of Third-Party Developers
Posted 10/15/2009 at 03:20:19pm
Xiongrey is right. It isn't bias. The Playstation hardware has always been notoriously the "hardest" of the major consoles to develop for due to Sony's esoteric quirks.
Whose Kindle Is It Anyway?

This is absolutely unacceptable. There should be a class-action lawsuit immediately. They should NEVER have the right or the capability to remotely delete purchased goods EVER, regardless of if it was illegally sold in the first place.
