Formal training?? Pschology is a relatively new field of science. Is it ignorance to challenge theories unproven or to assume anyone with the title of "trained professional" is all knowing and without error.

Apparently the cure for her depression was not going to work for over a year while still getting paid... *cough* Doctor I'm feeling a little depressed this morning can I get a note for work. What is this? middle school? What kind of doctor would insist their patient leave work for over a year for depression.. Maybe switch jobs, but yea, not everyone loves their job, it's life, grow up. Don't want to work? Fine. I have a cardboard box you can borrow. I hope she gets what's coming to her.

Please tell me the benefit of prestige is not another lame user preset for weapons. For crying out loud at least let us be able to keep our perks =(...

about multiplayer but... yesterday about half of the games I played had host with horrible connections and would switch hosts every 5-10min. I dont care for the numbers as far as 9v9, but the 50% of the games hosted by someone on a dial-up connection is no fun (dramatization).

and? you have to play a level before you go to the next dont you? thats the case for most games. how is playing with a certain weapon to get perks for it so much different?? Cry more you don't get your cheat codes and everything is unlocked the moment you buy it. =/ I love all the options and upgrades.. and being able to unlock them over time.
Does anyone feel like some of the soundbytes are from Command ond Conquer: Generals and I swear when I hear a sound effect it reminds me of the Marine scream in Starcraft. I'm lovin it so far and am glad this game is giving me a break from the monotonous WoW grind.
Windows 7’s Market Share Hits 3.6 Percent
Posted 11/04/2009 at 07:20:20pm
vista has been polished a bit since its release and instead if just adding features from windows 7 into vista as service packs we have to buy an entirely "new" OS. I'm just concerned that a whole new operating system might have not been necessary. Try adding a price to each feature and see if it adds up. K.. so new task bar... thats a 10dollar feature.. and if im entirely honest with myself its actually more like a 2dollar feature. Increased security, is around 10-20dollar in my books. I mean I hear the same argument from MACs, so I think its being overplayed. Increased performance is the only note-worthy feature which i would priced based on the percentage increase in performance... 10%-20% increase = $40-60... The point is, it doesnt add up. The additional "perks" of better networking and tools are corrections to Vista's problems.. and while we're happy Microsoft did redeem themselves, do I think it's fair theyre going to charge me again to fix their mistakes? Its like if I bought a new car and watched the salesman punch holes in my tires and tell me i needed a new car.

maybe i don't understand the profoundness of the percentages, partly because there's no comparison with the adoption rates of XP and Vista.

I would throw in a rant but this article just makes me sad. Stop giving MACs cannon fodder for their commercials and think about what you say before you say it. =/
White Paper: OLED Screens
Posted 11/03/2009 at 09:47:04am
Well it sucks that these screens don't last as long and are more expensive than LCDs. That's the reason plasma screens turned me off... I'd just like to see a side by side comparison between different displays to see if the tradeoffs are worth it. I heard plasma screens only last about 5 years, if even that. DLPs are a joke. So now that we're also starting to hear about inorganic LED displays, should we be waiting a bit longer before upgrading our moniters, tvs, portable devices??
